This year, in addition to being nominated for World Magazine's Hope Award, The Bowery Mission and Kids With A Promise has been awarded some very important accolades. 
Charity Navigator recognized The Bowery Mission with a 4-star rating based on our accountability, transparency and financial performance. We are one of only two homeless services charities in New York City to be awarded this important recognition.
 
The Bowery Mission has also been named a Better Business Bureau Accredited Charity, having met all 20 BBB Wise Giving Alliance Standards for Charity Accountability.
Lastly, after in-depth inspections, the Mission has once again achieved renewed membership with the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions, while our own Mont Lawn Camp was once again accredited by the American Camp Association.
