Volunteer to join the Don't Walk By Campaign
This February, more than 1,400 New Yorkers will come together to bring compassion, care, and the message of God's love to those living on the streets.
Don't Walk By volunteers will be part of a team providing clothes, food, blankets, shelter and a new hope to homeless men, women and children in New York City. Most importantly, volunteers will invite people to leave the streets and enter a residential recovery program that night - faith-based programs that could transform their life!
Last year we were able to walk 6,718 blocks and engage over 1,000 homeless men, women and children. We hope that you would consider donating your time to the Don’t Walk By campaign this February.

- Hospitality Volunteers are a critical group that performs a variety of key tasks serving homeless guests and supporting logistics at the host church. Some key hospitality tasks include greeting homeless guests who return to the host church for meals, engaging homeless guests in conversation as they eat, helping assessment staff connect with homeless guests, coordinating logistics for clothing distribution, supporting meal preparation, serving meals, clearing tables, and sitting with homeless guests while they await transport to a residential recovery program.
