2018 Celebration of Hope Auction

The Bowery Mission's 2018 Celebration of Hope

On October 10, 2018, The Bowery Mission hosted its 14th annual Celebration of Hope Silent & Live Auction in support of The Bowery Mission's programs for men, women and children. This fun evening featured a reception with live music, a silent and live auction, and inspiring stories of life transformation.

Through this event, friends of The Bowery Mission raised over $184,000 to change the lives of more men, women and children!

During the evening, Charles, a staff member of The Bowery Mission and previous client, shared about the new hope he received at the Mission after battling addictions and homelessness: "I had been in many rehab programs over the years, and none of them worked. But something was different this time. As soon as I walked through the doors, I was loved, accepted and embraced without judgment."

Proceeds from this event will help more people like Charles receive care for their unique needs in order to overcome homelessness, hunger, poverty and other crises.
